Charles Fjerestad, formerly of Nome, North Dakota took possession as manager of the Rogers Lumberyard in June 1905. In 1905 he and his family were living at the lumberyard office, but were contemplating erecting a dwelling house that summer. Their two children Florence and Gladys attended school in Manfred. Daughter Florence was born in 1910 in Manfred. The above picture was taken of Charles at the lumberyard.
There was another girl named Mabel Hanson in school in Manfred in 1908, born in 1896 listed in that household in the school records.
They built their home on the property which they sold to Olaf Anderson in 1913. Olaf Anderson built a larger home on this property later. The 1915 census listed the family as living in Medicine Lake, Montana.
