Herman J. Weinmann was born in Forward Township, near Harvey and was reared there. He farmed in Manfred Township, Wells Co until 1963 when they moved into Harvey. Herman operated a Coast-to-Coast store in Harvey until retiring in 1972. His wife Cora worked in the store as well.
They were members of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church and served on the Manfred Township Board and Wells County Farmers Home Administration board.
Herman died in 1977, Cora died in 1991. They are buried at Sunnyside Cemetery near Harvey.
