Ivar Ravnaas was the son of Ingvald and Olida Berve Ravnaas. He was born on the family farm near Manfred and reared there. He worked with his father on the family farm, and also cash rented other farm land in the area. He was an avid hunter. Ivar was buried at Vang Cemetery.
