Conrad Boeker was born in Germany in 1883 and immigrated to the USA in 1909. He registered for the draft in 1917-1918 listing Fessenden as his home. The 1930 census also states he is living in Fessenden and lists him as a “laborer”. Later he lived in Manfred in a small house near the James River. This was in the 1950s. He died in 1958 and is buried in the Vang Cemetery north of Manfred.
